Hey everyone~! ♥

I know it's been really really hectic the last few months, so I was thinking we could all use a day off! Maybe a party?

Ion's birthday was a couple of months ago, and he didn't really get a chance to celebrate it, so I was thinking of throwing a get-together for him this weekend! Anyone and everyone is welcome! I have desserts and snacks covered but we're taking donations if anything wants to bring anything else. ♥

Otherwise, meet at noon!

Oh, and this is a surprise party, okay? So don't go telling Ion. Or else.

[Meanwhile a certain someone is completely oblivious to all the planning going on and just sees today as a completely normal day! And as a completely normal day, he's just going about getting a few chores out of the way... such as giving a certain pup a bath. And naturally, given Colonel is a very smart dog, that means he's nowhere to be seen. Maybe he's hiding in one of the rooms?]

[So at some point while Anise is trying to secretly organize the party, Ion knocks on her door before opening it up a crack. Hopefully he's not interrupting anything!]

Anise? Have you seen Colonel today?

[As Ion opens on the door, she instinctively jerks back, and throws the journal over her shoulder. She's kind of worried about it getting damaged, but at this point, she's focused enough on keeping him from seeing it that she doesn't care. Why had the stupid mutt decided to sneak into her room today of all days?]

[She felt bad turning him away, but it was just for today, right? She just had to keep it cool.]

Ah, I haven't actually seen Colonel...

[As if on cue, the dog ran out from under her bed.]

[...well, that was a little dramatic. Of course, he doesn't really get time to react to Anise throwing her journal against the wall as Colonel comes shooting out from under her bed, bolting past Ion out the door. Unfortunately, Ion didn't really have the door open very far, so Colonel jumps down by his legs and knocks him right over.]

[For his part, the dog does stop in the hallway and bark back as if checking that Ion is okay, and then scurries off for a new hiding place.]

C-Colonel! [SIGH. Okay, he might need a hand up over here.]

[At any rate, she makes a move to hide all of the incriminating evidence before going to help Ion up. It looks like Colonel got away too, drat.]

[Oh gosh, that writing is so cute, and Perona is tempted to reply back with text herself, but she's been so tired and exhausted lately from the prior draft that she doesn't quite trust herself to write anything at all legible in return. So on goes her audio function, as she makes herself comfy in bed and muses over what she could do for a gift.]

Was it realy Ion-chan's birthday already? When was that? [In fact...her own was a while back, too! She completely forgot! Ugh, and she didn't get a party or cakes or gifts or anything either!! ;A;]

His birthday was back in April, but he was sick, so we didn't get a chance to celebrate it then.
